Located in the heart of the Flint Hills, top professional rodeo contestants come to compete in seven traditional rodeo events; Bareback Riding, Tie-down Roping, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Team Roping and Bull Riding. Events for local competitors and kids are included in 3 performances normally held Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
A parade, dances, art show and several other community activities round out these 3 days of “Rodeo at it’s Best!”
History
In the heart of Flint Hills is one of the oldest consecutive rodeos in the state of Kansas. The first weekend of June will have rodeo contestants in seven traditional events, a parade, dances, art show, and several other community activities for three days of fun.
