The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is the oldest running livestock show and rodeo.
It started in 1896 and usually takes place in mid-January through early February.
Fort Worth Rodeo sets an attendance record for the 120-year tradition in 2016 bringing in more than 1.2 million people.
In 1932, NBC produced the first live broadcast of a rodeo as a local station WBAP broadcast.
