Our mission is to provide a venue of community entertainment as well as a showplace for local businesses, civic groups, and youth groups. To provide an avenue for local community groups to participate in community service and to do these things in a professional and businesslike manner.
History
The Porterville Fair has been an integral event in the community for 71 years and has been well established as a “Community Tradition”. Established in 1948, the first two fairs were held at Porterville High School. Followed by one year at the Rocky Hill Arena, the Fair was moved to Olive Street in 1951 and remained there until 2011. Today, thanks to the tremendous support shown by the community the Fair has a new home on 35 acres located on Teapot Dome (Ave 128) close to the Porterville Airport.
