The Solano County Fair Association (SCFA) was established in 1946 to produce the annual Solano County Fair and manage the year-round operations of the Solano County Fairgrounds. Since then, the SCFA has been providing educational, cultural, artistic, commercial, and recreational programs to the residents of Solano County for more than 70 years.
The SCFA is comprised of a fifteen-member Board of Directors appointed by the Solano County Board of Supervisors. Each of the five district Supervisors has three appointments to the Board of Directors from residents within their respective districts. Directors serve for four-year terms with the option of re-appointment for two additional terms for a total of twelve years.
Fairs are a reflection of their communities’ growth and progress. They celebrate our history and our heritage. They provide educational inspiration for our youth and wholesome, family-oriented entertainment for all ages. The livestock and 4H/FFA/Grange programs at Fairs support California’s vibrant agricultural sector.
