Dodge City Roundup Rodeo

The Dodge City Roundup Rodeo will be held on Tuesday, July 30th – Sunday, August 4th, 2019 in Dodge City, Kansas. This Dodge City rodeo is held at Dodge City Roundup Rodeo Grounds and hosted by Dodge City Roundup, Frontier Rodeo Co.

2017 marks the 41st ANNUAL Dodge City Roundup PRCA rodeo! Many of the volunteers you see working at our rodeo have been there since its inception.
Dodge City Roundup, Inc. is a non-profit corporation formed to promote our Western Heritage through rodeos, horse shows, roping contests, and related activities. These activities appeal to participants of all ages and an audience that reflects today’s active lifestyle.

The PRCA Rodeo is held during Dodge City Days, a ten-day community and area-wide event, taking place each year in late July and early August. Our Dodge City Days event is the second largest community event held in the entire state of Kansas! To kick off Dodge City Days, the Roundup Arena is transformed to an outdoor concert venue for the annual Dodge City Days Concert, packing in over 6,000 music-hungry fans. Then just a few nights later, the arena is packed with championship cowboys and cowgirls cheered on by the greatest rodeo fans.

Dodge City Roundup is able to present one of the top rodeos in the nation in partnership with many local, area, and national sponsors.

Dodge City Roundup PRCA Rodeo has been named the PRCA’s “Large Outdoor Rodeo Committee of the Year” an unprecedented nine times! The Dodge City Roundup Rodeo was selected by Time Magazine as one of the”50 Authentic American Experiences”. This selection is limited to one “experience” for each of the fifty (50) United States.
