Family and friends, both old and new can join in the celebration of BBQ at the 6th Annual Boro BBQ Festival on the historic grounds of Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Smell that smoke, join in a rib eating contest and watch some of the top cookers in Middle Tennessee compete in the KCBS-sanctioned Dr. George Smith BBQ Brawl. This event annually attracts several thousand visitors to a day of family fun and adventure. Come on down, experience the aroma, and enjoy eating some of the finest BBQ east of the Mississippi River and west of the Great Smoky Mountains. We will roll out the red carpet and keep the lights on.

- The Boro BBQ Festival is one of Tennessee’s premiere BBQ Events and is a KCBS competitive sanctioned contest. It is a community event sponsored by the Murfreesboro Breakfast Rotary Club to celebrate the culturally diverse and rich heritage of Tennessee. Sign up to smoke now! Hurry, that list is growing daily. Registration is $175 per team. Cook on May 11 The 6th Annual Boro BBQ Festival will take place on the grounds of Cannonsburgh Village in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on May 11, 2019. You’ll receive more information by email as we come closer to the event. Remember, this is a 2-Meat+PLUS KCBS Competitive Series Competition. Our judges only want the best Chicken, Pork Ribs you can muster – Mustard is optional. And don’t forget our new third category, Anything Butt… where you can let your creativity shine!
