Don’t miss this fun family event as downtown Clayton is transformed into a BBQ lovers paradise at the 9th Annual Clayton BBQ Cook-Off on Saturday, July 13th, 2019. Presented by the Clayton Business and Community Association.
After the success of last year, the Craft Brew Garden, featuring local craft breweries, will return to the Clayton BBQ Cook-Off this year.

- Think you’ve got what it takes to be the next BBQ champ? Enter the 9th Annual Clayton BBQ Cook-Off in either the Backyard BBQ’er or KCBS Pro Pitmaster competition to win cash prizes, trophies, and bragging rights. Backyard BBQ’ers This is a two meat competition that takes place on Saturday, July 13th, 2019. Backyard BBQ’ers will cook chicken and ribs to compete for a chance to win up to $700 plus trophies. KCBS Pro Pitmasters This is a four meat competition: Saturday, July 13th, 2019. Kansas City Barbeque Society Pro Pitmaster contestants must cook all four types of meat (chicken, ribs, pork shoulder, and brisket) with a chance to win up to $1,900 plus trophies People’s Choice Competition Both Backyard Competitors & KCBS Teams are eligible to participate in the “People’s Choice” competition in addition to the KCBS Judged competition.
