The Cody Stampede Board of Directors consists of a group of local businessmen, who all volunteer their time to run the Stampede.
Many hours are devoted to the Stampede by these individuals, and their efforts, to make a celebration of this type possible.
The Stampede Board, with the help of both national and local sponsors, is putting up a purse of $25,000 per event in added money for 2018 Stampede, giving them the title of the Largest One Header Rodeo in the PRCA.
The Stampede Board has won numerous awards including the prestigious PRCA Large Outdoor Rodeo Committee of the Year consecutively in 1998 & 1999. 2014 WPRA Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year.

History
Cody is the "Rodeo Capital of the World." From the turn of the century, rodeos and parades have been part of the 4th of July here in Cody, Wyoming. Officially starting in 1919, the Cody Stampede rodeo has been held every summer this event established Cody as not only one of the longest running successful professional rodeos, but also the only place in the country that has a rodeo performance nightly. The Professional Rodeo Cowboy's Association named the Cody Stampede "Best Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year" in 1998 & 1999. In 2001 the Cody Nite Rodeo was nominated for "Best Small Outdoor Rodeo of the Year."
The Cody Nite Rodeo started in 1938 and is the longest running and the only nightly rodeo in the world. Mo Betta Rodeo Company and Tate family have been producing the nightly rodeo for more than 12 years and continue to make history.

Enjoy the added excitement of the Wrangler Bullfighters Only.
Join us! June 30th @ 8:00 p.m. gates will open at 6:00 p.m. so come early and get your photo taken on Mongo the Bull and meet the clowns & bullfighters.
Grandstand tickets are $20 and the event has reserved seating.
