This Darrington rodeo is held at Darrington Rodeo Grounds.
Kick up your heels and enjoy the Darrington Timberbowl Rodeo, a family event since 1962. The Rodeo includes Open Bull Riding, Western States Ranch Rodeo Association sanctioned 8-second Tour Whiskey Ranch Saddle Bronc, and Washington Barrel Racing Association sanctioned Barrel Racing.
The town of Darrington had held Timberbowl bucking contests and other lumberjack fun since the 1920s. Founded on mining and timber, the small town at the foot of Whitehorse Mountain in Snohomish County, Washington, has a nationally acclaimed bluegrass festival and other performances. The Rodeo is good old-fashioned family fun. The Darrington Horse Owners Association keeps the rodeo entry fees low to encourage families to take part.
