The Festival of Iowa Beers is the state’s longest running beer festival held each year on the Sunday before Labor Day at Millstream Brewing Company in Amana. Debuting in 2005 with 300 attendees sampling beers from eight Iowa breweries, today, FoIB attendance is capped at 1,400 while featuring over 40 Iowa breweries.
The 2019 fest runs from 1-5 pm on Sunday, Sept. 1. Admission includes a souvenir glass and unlimited beer samples. Food and live music will be provided.
The mission for The Iowa Brewers Guild is a non-profit organization working to showcase and improve the quality of beer brewed in Iowa, foster communication among the state’s brewers, advocate for the promotion of the local brewing community, and lobby for progressive changes in Iowa laws to benefit the craft brewing industry in the state.
