Longford Rodeo

The Longford Rodeo started in 1955 and is one of the best rodeos in Kansas. Come early for the BBQ on Friday or the parade on Saturday. Then be ready to kick up your boots at the dance Saturday night.

When we consider “home”, we think of someplace comfortable, a place where “family” exists, or a location that allows us to be ourselves, relax and hang our proverbial hat.

Those who have lived in Clay County for years know that feeling of “home”. What is unique about the County is that even those who do not live here, find it “home” pretty quick.

Whether you belong to a long line whose roots were planted when the first ground was broken, or you have just set your feet on Clay County soil, we hope you find it to be “home” for you.
