VIP check-in begins at 11:00 AM at the front gate, just look for the sign for VIP Check-In & Will Call. VIP entry is at 12:00 PM. General Admission entry is at 1:00 PM and Concert-Only gates open at 3:45 PM. Get there early.
Red Dirt BBQ & Music Festival has proven itself to be one of the most premier and unique music and food experiences in Texas. The festival takes place on the brick streets of the downtown square in Tyler every May, featuring more than 20 of the most celebrated barbecue restaurants in Texas. Music happens for nearly 12 hours on two stages, with the main stage highlighting the biggest names in Texas and Red Dirt Music.

- What’s the Music Schedule? 3:45 PM: Mike and the Moonpies 5:15 PM: American Aquarium 6:45 PM: Stoney LaRue 8:15 PM: Wade Bowen 10:00 PM: Randy Rogers Band Red Dirt is a rain or shine event, as printed when you bought your tickets and on our website. Even if it’s raining, we party. However, lightning is not rain. If there is lightning and/or severe weather in the vicinity of the festival, everyone will be evacuated from the event to their vehicles or to other shelters. In the case of consistent severe weather, festival officials will meet with public safety officials and the bands to determine the best course of action. Also as printed on our Festival Policies, no refunds will be given.
