Let’s rodeo in Wahoo July 25-27! The “Biggest Little PRCA Rodeo in Nebraska” kicked up dust for the first time in 1942. Since then, the PRCA Rodeo has made it’s home at the end of July, just one week before the Saunders County Fair starts. This year the gates will swing open on July 25, 2019. The three days of lassoing, rodeo action will commemorate the 65th annual Wahoo PRCA Rodeo.
The sun will be beaming, but with the covered grandstands and dozens of trees, there’s the shade to be found. The cook shack will be grilling up the best burgers in town and has all of the drinks to keep the fans cool. Cowboys and cowgirls will come from all around to bring the best rodeo action to Wahoo. The seven events mixed with hilarious clowns and specialty acts there will be something to impress everyone in the family. Championship Pro Rodeo will bring the best livestock, horses and, bulls to keep fans guessing what will happen next. For our younger cowpokes, they’ll get to show off their skills during the Mutton Bustin’.
- History

In the mid-forties, the Saunders County Fair Board asked the Saddle Club to put on horse shows and horse racing. After 1954 fair, they decided to try improving the fair with a Rodeo Cowboy Association (RCA) rodeo. In 1955, the Wahoo Saddle Club hosted the first annual RCA rodeo.
